Preparing Kids for Kindergarten
Destiny Starr Academy takes part in the Conyers, GA Pre-K Program. This is a lottery-funded educational program to prepare four-year-old children for Kindergarten. Children must be four years old by September 1st to be eligible, and the program is voluntary for families and providers.
Enroll Now — Space May Be Limited
Since participation in the Conyers, GA Pre-K Program is voluntary for public schools and private child care centers, there may not be enough spaces for the children who wish to enroll. The program makes every effort to create enough spaces and match children with available spaces.
Just Like Regular School
Pre-K programs generally operate on the regular school system calendar, and days are the length of the typical school day. Extend services (before- and after-school care) may be available — you should check with your pre-K provider. If your child attends pre-K at Destiny Starr Academy, ask about our
Before- and After-School Program.
